Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Cleveland, OH seeks a Laser Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites. Travel Monday through Friday with weekends at home, using mechanical and electrical skills and strong communication with clients.

Ideal candidates have an associates/technical degree and experience with electrical measurement, troubleshooting bearings/gearing, and reading schematics. A valid license and good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other measuring equipment).
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems (bearings, gearing, and various way systems).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
