Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Laser Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the US. The role requires traveling Monday through Friday, with weekends at home, and occasional international travel.

You will read schematics, work with mechanical and electrical systems, and document resolutions for timely service. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical training, hands-on maintenance experience with measuring equipment, and

Qualifications

Associate's or technical degree preferred.
Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other measuring equipment).
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems (ball screws, bearings, gearing, and various way systems).

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed.
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
Other duties as assigned.
