Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test Mitsubishi Machining products across customer sites. This is a traveling role, primarily regional, with weekdays on the road and weekends at home.

You will diagnose complex problems, interpret schematics, document resolutions, and communicate professionally with customers. The role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel throughout

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred
• Experience with electrical measurement techniques such as voltmeter and oscilloscope
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical problems including ball screws, bearings, gearing
• Experience with mechanical measurement and inspection techniques

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document detailed product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned
