Job summary

The Consortium, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support (Generalist) to maintain and support a network of computer labs across New York City, including site visits to partner locations.

You will install and upgrade equipment, support mobile devices, A/V systems, and staff with remote assistance while tracking assets and data in Salesforce and Smartsheet; travel across all five boroughs is required within a flexible 30-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, professionalism, problem solving and critical-thinking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience as a help desk technician or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android operating systems.
• Ability to independently research and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Visit partner locations to install new equipment and upgrade existing labs.
• Support mobile devices, desktops and software applications.
• Support conferencing and A/V systems at OATS offices.
• Pull data exports and data entry from/to Salesforce CRM and Smartsheet.
• Track assets and work orders in Salesforce.
• Provide remote staff support as needed.
