Job summary

The Consortium is seeking a Technical Support (Generalist) to maintain and support a network of computer labs across New York City. The role requires visiting partner locations, installing new equipment, performing upgrades, and providing remote support as needed.

Responsibilities include supporting Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android devices, conferencing and A/V systems, data exports, and asset tracking in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a help desk technician or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android operating systems.
• Technical proficiency installing, configuring and troubleshooting Computers, mobile devices, and software applications.
• Ability to independently research and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support network of computer labs throughout NYC, visiting partner locations to install equipment and perform upgrades.
• Travel throughout all five NYC boroughs; support mobile devices and desktops.
• Support conferencing and A/V systems at OATS offices.
• Assist with pulling data exports and data entry from Salesforce and Smartsheet.
• Track assets and work orders in Salesforce; provide remote staff support as needed.
• Assist with general staff tech inquiries and provide remote support for staff in other cities.
