KPM Multifamily is seeking a dependable IT Support Specialist for Houston-area properties. This part-time or contract role is on-site, with travel between sites to keep phones, laptops, and networks running smoothly.

You'll resolve desk‑side issues, configure devices, support VoIP, manage user accounts, and document fixes. Strong communication and the ability to explain tech simply are essential. Travel between properties is required, and scheduling is flexible to fit availability.

Qualifications

Experience supporting phone systems, computers, and internet connectivity.
Working knowledge of Windows and office software.
Ability to diagnose problems independently and escalate when needed.
Clear, patient communication with non-technical coworkers.
Willingness to travel across the Houston metro area.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Support office phone systems, VoIP, voicemail, and call routing.
Troubleshoot internet/network issues — routers, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling.
Create and manage user accounts, email, and access permissions.
Install software updates and assist with basic security housekeeping.
Provide friendly help-desk support by phone, email, in person.
Track equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors or ISPs when needed.
Document recurring issues and fixes for the team.
