Job summary

IT Voice is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure IT systems, and ensure the smooth operation of networks on-site for university/community environments. The role requires basic PC experience and strong customer-service skills, with on-site work in the Houston, TX area.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of support experience, familiarity with MS365, and a dependable means of transportation.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalency required.
• Approved to work in the US with a valid driver's license.
• Basic PC and peripheral experience required.
• Familiarity with MS365 is favorable.
• 1-2 years of support experience and willingness to learn are favorable.
• Dependable transportation to the customer site is required.
• Must be located in the Houston, TX area due to the onsite engagement.
• The ability to get stuff done (there’s no room on our ship for slackers).
• Passion for Technology and doing the right thing.

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side support for hardware and software issues, including PCs and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems and applications.
• Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks on-site.
• Collaborate with the IT Voice technical support team to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
