Job summary

Hussmann in Destin, FL is seeking an experienced Installation Project Lead for commercial refrigeration systems. You will oversee site installations, coordinate installers and subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and report progress to the Installation Supervisor.

This traveling role requires strong communication and a hands-on leadership style. Preferred candidates have 5+ years in HVAC/R with commercial experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• High School diploma or related experience; 5+ years in the field.
• HVAC/R experience in commercial environments.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects on schedule with customer satisfaction.
• Plan schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priority and crew capability.
• Communicate with customers, owners, contractors, and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with contract processes and closeout documentation.
• Monitor cost-to-completion by reviewing hours and materials.
• Coordinate on-site installation/remodel work and supervise personnel.
• Read and interpret plans/blueprints for cabling and equipment installation.
• Lead the team and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
