Job summary

Hussmann seeks a skilled Installation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems at supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities. You will oversee site installations, coordinate crews, and ensure customer satisfaction on multiple projects.

The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience; a Technical Degree is

Qualifications

• Formal Education Requirement: High School OR 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred level: Technical Degree
• Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 5 years of exp with HS/GED

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned site installation project with goal to provide safe, quality and efficient service.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priority, equipment and personnel skill.
• Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes and closeout requirements.
• Maintain forecasted cost at completion by reviewing hours and material costs; discuss scope, budgets and close-out.
• Coordinate installation/remodel on-site including supervision of installers and helpers.
