Job summary

Hussmann is seeking an Installation Project Supervisor/Technician in Phoenix to lead commercial refrigeration installation projects for supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will oversee on-site teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion while coordinating materials, labor, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive HVAC/R installation experience, and the ability to read plans and specs.

Qualifications

• Formal education: High School or ten years of related experience.
• Preferred: Technical degree in a related field.
• Minimum ten years of experience in HVAC/R/commercial installation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned site branch installation projects and report progress to Installation Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities.
• Communicate with customers, owners, and contractors to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with contracting processes and closeout requirements.
• Maintain forecasted cost accuracy by reviewing hours and material costs.
