Job summary

Hussmann’s team of Technicians install commercial refrigeration in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities. You will oversee assigned site branch Installation projects, report progress to Installation Supervisor/Project Manager, with the goal of safe, quality, efficient service while maximizing profit and customer satisfaction.

This is a traveling position. Qualifications include High School or equivalent, 5 years of related HVAC/R experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School or Ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC/R with commercial focus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priority and manpower.
• Communicates with customers and their representatives including owners and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contracting processes and closeout procedures.
• Maintain forecasted costs by reviewing hours and material costs.
• Coordinate installation/remodel on-site with supervision.
• Read/interpret plans and blueprints for energy management and refrigerant systems.
• Read/interpret contracts, drawings, and technical documents.
• Inspect work areas and train staff on safety.
• Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
