Job summary

Hussmann in Powder Springs, GA is seeking a skilled Installation Technician with strong leadership and project management abilities to oversee on-site installations and remodels for commercial refrigeration systems.

You will coordinate installers, read blueprints, manage schedules and costs, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering high customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and a detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or ten years related experience or equivalent.
• Technical degree preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities.
• Communicates with customers and representatives, including building owners, contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
• Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer specific documentation and closeout processes.
• Coordinate Installation or remodel job on-site to include Installers and Helpers and provide Supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend plans and blueprints as appropriate to trade regarding the installation of energy management and refrigerant leak systems.
