Layton Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. You will supervise direct labor and coordinate any contracted work to ensure project completion.

The role requires full-time travel on-site to project locations, with the understanding that the posted location may not reflect the project site. Strong planning, communication, and leadership are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in ground-up commercial projects, particularly in the light industrial and/or cold storage sector.
• Has a valid driver's license and is able to travel to and from the project site.

Mansioni

• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
• Interacts with the Project Manager to determine the project schedule and uses look ahead schedules to assess progress.
• Coordinates the pre-construction meeting with the Project Manager prior to mobilization.
• Directs procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
• Ensures all parties involved are informed of construction issues and progress and coordinates with subcontractors and clients.
• Maintains safety policies and quality standards in line with company requirements.
