Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated General Ledger Operations Analyst who will travel nationwide to support implementing and training on GL software for banking clients.

The role acts as the liaison between clients and the software installation team, guiding projects from pre-installation planning to post-installation support. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in financial institutions with back-office GL operations and is comfortable traveling 40-50% of the time,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a financial institution with back office General Ledger operations.
• 40-50% travel for software implementations; about 1 trip per month, 6-9 days per trip.
• Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement, design, and train on the GL Operations software.
• Consult banking clients to design parameter sets and validate data conversions.
• Travel with the conversion team to customer sites for setup, training, and implementations.
• Coordinate with programmers to map customer needs to the Jack Henry product.
• Prepare training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
