Job summary

Jack Henry seeks an experienced General Ledger Operations Analyst to serve as a liaison between banking clients and our software installation team. This role involves traveling nationwide to support the implementation and training of GL software applications, with an emphasis on a hands-on, client-facing approach.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a financial institution's Back Office General Ledger operations, is comfortable with 40-50% travel, and can work across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a financial institution with Back Office General Ledger Operations.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% for software implementations; travel expenses covered by the company.
• Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement, design, and train GL software applications.
• Consult with banking clients to design parameter sets and validate data conversions.
• Coordinate with analysts and programmers to audit core system transactions.
• Travel with the conversion team to customer sites for setup, training, conversion, and implementations.
• Analyze customer processes and map them to Jack Henry products.
• Prepare customers for installation and provide training or post-installation support.
• Set up system parameters and ensure business processes run on the software.
• Prepare training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
