Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Gaming Technician to ensure the operation of gaming terminals and related equipment in compliance with company policies. Travel required 50-75% to service terminals, installations, and events on property.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of wagering terminals, networking gear, and related systems, with strong attention to safety, records, and guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years mechanical, electronics or installation and maintenance of networking/server-based hardware or equivalent with HHR or Class 2/3 Gaming Experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on Gaming Terminals, scheduled and unscheduled.
• Keep complete records listing repairs of department equipment.
• Share and communicate current and relative information regarding terminal status with other Gaming Technicians and Lead Gaming Technician(s).
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum terminal performance.
• Responsible for ordering replacement parts that are not readily available.
• Manage and implement all hardware and software updates.
• Be involved in all aspects of terminal installations, conversions and relocations.
• Perform routine and advanced Gaming Terminal maintenance, including working the Gaming floor and responding to guest opportunities and floor calls.
• Attend to bill or voucher jams or other failures of the terminals.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of terminal technical issues and innovations.
