Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel across the United States, helping customers organize and optimize maintenance shops.

You will install inventory systems, label and stock products, and train customers on ordering technology including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.

A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required. Expect up to 90% travel, ongoing training, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Mechanically inclined with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
• Customer-focused with strong communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds in active shop environments.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and organize inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identify, label, stock, and optimize maintenance products for better workflows.
• Train customers on ordering technology including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Travel Monday through Friday to US customer locations while building strong relationships.
