Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Field Service Technician who will travel across the United States to help customers organize and optimize their maintenance shops.

You will install inventory systems, train customers on ordering technology, and build lasting relationships while working Monday through Friday with up to 90% travel. A valid license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with frequent overnight travel (up to 90% during scheduled work weeks).
• Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active shop environments.
• A valid driver's license and high school diploma (or equivalent) are required.

Responsibilities

• Installing and organizing inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identifying, labeling, stocking, and optimizing maintenance products for improved workflow.
• Training customers on our ordering technology, including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Traveling Monday through Friday to customer locations throughout the United States while building strong customer relationships.
