Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician who travels across the United States to help customers organize and optimize their maintenance shops. You will be the face of Imperial at customer locations, working with our Sales team to create organized, efficient environments.

No prior Field Service experience is required—we provide training. You should be comfortable with overnight travel, mechanically inclined, and able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 90% during scheduled work weeks.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Imperial at customer locations, partnering with Sales to create organized, efficient maintenance shops.
• Install and organize inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Train customers on ordering technology, including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Travel Monday through Friday to customer locations throughout the United States while building relationships.
