Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Field Service Technician I based in Dallas, TX. The role involves traveling across the United States to support customers by organizing maintenance shops, installing inventory systems, and training users on ordering technology.

You will work with the Sales team to improve shop efficiency, handle hands-on setup, and ensure safe, productive work environments. This position requires frequent travel and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• You do not need prior Field Service experience; training will be provided.
• Comfortable with frequent overnight travel (up to 90% during work weeks).
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and organize inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identify, label, stock, and optimize maintenance products for efficient workflow.
• Train customers on ordering technology, scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Travel Monday through Friday to customer locations across the United States and build relationships.
