Job summary

Enerstaff, LLC is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to install, start up, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize hydraulic equipment at customer sites including refineries and industrial facilities. The role requires extensive domestic and international travel and a commitment to safety.

The ideal candidate will perform startups, preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, read schematics, and provide documentation and training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely in refinery and petrochemical environments.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree or 2-year Technical Degree.
• Experience with hydraulic equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment and related mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, actuators, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and customer documentation accurately and timely.
• Work closely with customer personnel to resolve equipment issues and improve system reliability.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance planning activities.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
