Job summary

Enerstaff, LLC is seeking a Filed Service Mechanic to install, startup and maintain hydraulic equipment at customer sites, including refineries and petrochemical facilities. The role requires extensive travel and strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to safety.

The position involves preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with customers to improve system reliability. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally required.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to work safely in refinery and petrochemical environments required.
• Must pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment and related mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, actuators, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Complete service reports and customer documentation accurately and timely.
• Work closely with customer personnel to resolve equipment issues and improve system reliability.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance planning.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
