Job summary

Motion is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform on-site support for hydraulic systems and related equipment. The role covers installation, diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance with regional responsibilities in the United States.

Travel to customer sites and on-call rotations are involved. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and at least five years of field service experience, excellent communication, and the ability to train customers on system operation and

Typically requires a technical degree and five (5) or more years of related experience.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics and interpret technical information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide to repair or replace parts.
Provides technical analysis and training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
Leads small to moderate projects and assists less experienced technicians as needed.
