Zusammenfassung

Kent Companies' National Mission Critical Division seeks a Project Engineer to support field teams on concrete construction projects nationwide. You will assist with budgets, cost-to-complete projections, and issue resolution while coordinating RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

You will travel nationally as needed to sites, ensure QA/QC, and help develop post-project learnings. Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering preferred with 1–3 years of experience in construction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or construction science; 1–3 years preferred.
• Ability to travel nationally up to 100%.
• Strong cost management, planning, and scheduling understanding.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Aufgaben

• Document and report RFIs and review changes in scope that affect costs.
• Update submittal logs and coordinate with vendor, project manager, and client.
• Input costs into takeoff/workbooks and inform PM of changes.
• Interact with field superintendents and subs to gather progress information.
• Perform site visits and inspections to ensure work matches drawings.
• Oversee QC checklists and testing (slump, air, temp) and track results.
• Assist in project setup with takeoffs and spreadsheets.
• Track labor and weekly reports from Exact Time to analyze production.
