Job summary

Kent Companies' National Mission Critical Division seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day field operations on turnkey concrete construction projects across the United States, including travel to multiple states.

You will assist with project planning, scheduling, material coordination, technical reviews, QC inspections, documentation, and safety compliance, working with clients, Superintendents, PMs, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of concrete construction or related experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong understanding of concrete processes, field operations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with ACI standards, safety requirements, and best practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day field operations on turnkey concrete projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals for accuracy.
• Perform pre-pour/post-pour inspections and document results.
• Maintain daily reports, pour logs, and productivity tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, Superintendents, PMs, and subcontractors.
• Support safety initiatives and site safety meetings.
