Job summary

Kent Companies’ National Mission Critical Division seeks a Project Engineer to support field project teams, helping with revenue projections, startup processes, budgets, and cost-to-complete analyses. The role involves field visits nationwide and collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and QC teams to ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates hold a construction-related bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of experience, OSHA 30-hour certification preferred,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or construction science with 1–3 years of construction industry experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to worksites.

Responsibilities

• Document and report RFIs for field findings.
• Update and manage submittal logs and requests across vendors, PM, and client.
• Input costs for overlays and changes; assist with budget tracking.
• Coordinate field communications, follow up on PM requests with superintendents and subs.
• Perform field site visits and inspections to ensure work matches drawings.
