Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Field Equipment Manager I or II (Traveling) to lead on-site equipment maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and manage a team of field mechanics across multiple project locations. This role emphasizes safety, budgeting, and adherence to DOT requirements while supporting project construction timelines.

The position requires strong leadership, logistics coordination, and hands-on maintenance oversight, with travel to job sites nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment/construction experience for Field Equipment Manager I.
• 5+ years of heavy equipment/construction experience for Field Equipment Manager II.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the field mechanics on assigned site.
• Maintain equipment maintenance forecasting and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and services and ensure DOT compliance.
• Conduct safety checks and daily POD updates.
• Mentor Field Equipment Manager I/II and serve as SME companywide.
