Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Field Equipment Manager to supervise field mechanics, manage equipment maintenance, and coordinate with vendors on an active job site. You will oversee safety checks, budget adherence, and scheduling of equipment movements across projects.

The role requires strong reading of schematics, coordination with multiple teams, and a proactive approach to equipment management in a dynamic construction environment; on-site leadership and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of prior heavy equipment/construction experience.
• Experience with reading schematics and digital systems is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the field mechanics on assigned site.
• Create and maintain an Equipment Matrix with dates, milestones, and descriptions.
• Establish local vendors for oil changes, tires, and parts; manage equipment budgets.
• Conduct daily supervisor safety checks and attend POD meetings.
