Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Field Equipment Manager I or II (Traveling) to supervise field mechanics, build and manage an Equipment Matrix, and coordinate vendors for maintenance and parts on multiple sites, including Phoenix. You will work under the Regional Equipment Manager and collaborate with project teams.

The role requires experience in heavy equipment/construction, strong safety focus, and the ability to travel to assign sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• For Field Equipment Manager II, five years of heavy equipment/construction experience.
• For Field Equipment Manager I, three years of heavy equipment/construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the field mechanics on assigned site.
• Create an Equipment Matrix with start dates, milestones and equipment details.
• Establish local vendors for oil changes, tires, parts, and consumables.
• Assist in equipment budget planning for repairs, maintenance, and rentals.
• Conduct daily supervisor safety checks.
• Attend Plan of the Day meetings to provide repairs updates.
• Ensure DOT drivers have valid medical cards, insurance, and logs.
• Maintain project maintenance schedules and inspect equipment before transport.
• Mentor Field Equipment Manager I/II and provide cross-site support.
