Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. This role reports to the Regional VP and deploys to locations undergoing transitions or openings to ensure high culinary standards.

The Traveling Support Executive Chef strengthens culinary execution, builds trust with teams, and supports regions with leadership during growth and change.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of culinary operations in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and HACCP practices.
• Ability to lead teams across multi-unit settings with coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership and operational support across multiple accounts.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement improvements for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain culinary standards for food quality, presentation and guest experience.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and food safety across locations.
• Support new account openings with menu rollout and training.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
• Assist with food cost management, inventory controls, and waste reduction.
• Mentor chefs and culinary staff through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Contribute to recipes, SOPs, and training resources for consistency.
