Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Field Services Technician I to join the Traveling Emergency Response team. The role covers hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and decontamination in the field. About 50% US travel with paid expenses and per diem during travel, with paid training initially.

Starting hourly wage is $20-$23, plus competitive benefits. This role requires on-call emergency response and a willingness to work long hours as needed, with safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as described in responsibilities.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis; weekends/holidays may be required; long shifts possible.
• Background check, drug test, and medical clearance required per position.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize Health and Safety as the primary goal and follow all policies.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear as required.
• Work in varied temperatures, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste in compliance with regulations.
• Work from ladders/scaffolds, enter confined spaces, and handle elevated work.
• Assist in field sampling and meters calibration.
• Be available for emergency response and on-call duties as scheduled.
