Clean Harbors in San Juan, PR seeks a Field Services Technician (Laborer) to perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. Travel up to 50% required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor and operate PPE and field equipment.
• Ability to participate in emergency response and be on-call as required.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Facial hair standards may apply under OSHA respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate tools and equipment.
• Perform field sampling and calibration of meters when required.
• Transport, load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely.
• Work in varied weather, temperatures, and potentially hazardous environments.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
