Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team, performing hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination across multiple locations in the US. The role emphasizes on-site fieldwork, strict safety compliance, and extended field assignments.

Travel (60-80%), completion of a two-week training academy, and potential for on-call emergency response are key components. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Asbestos Certifications (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Experience in asbestos abatement and/or mold remediation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• Emergency on-call requirements; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.
• OSHA respirator facial hair standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment with various hand tools and PPE.
• Work in varying temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis and support site remediation.
• Safely load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste and perform sampling as needed.
