Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a traveling Senior Superintendent for a full-time MEPS project in the Houston area. This role leads subcontractors and Turner trades on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence.

You will coordinate with owners and architects/engineers, manage the coordination of drawings and 3D models, and oversee startup, commissioning, turnover, and training for system handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of engineering/architectural experience plus six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; ability to read/interpret contract documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor on MEPS systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget adherence.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with owners and engineers on field issues and resolutions.
• Oversee billing processes, payments, and progress reporting.
