Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a traveling Senior Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems on advanced technology projects, including data centers. This role leads subcontractors and Turner trades to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget performance.

The incumbent will coordinate with engineers, owners and architects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across HVAC, plumbing and electrical scopes, and oversee turnover and training processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience required.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of building information modeling and its use in coordination of the Mechanical and Electrical systems and other project systems.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor on Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns and provide input on performance appraisals.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with engineers, owners, and architects on field issues and resolutions.
• Manage the billing process and monthly estimates of work completed, payrolls, and subcontractor payments.
