Job summary

Jobot in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead all electrical activities on a large-scale, mission-critical data center project. You will manage design, planning, installation, testing, and maintenance, ensuring work meets budgets, timelines, and safety standards.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical supervision, union experience, and strong leadership. Travel extensively and supervise ~100 electricians on a multi-year engagement with per diem and benefits.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as Electrical Superintendent in construction.
Experience on large-scale projects with budgets of $500M+.
Proven data center/mission-critical project experience preferred.
Must have current or past union work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee electrical construction activities from design through testing and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and teams for smooth execution.
Lead a team of ~100 electricians ensuring quality and safety.
Conduct cost analyses and budgeting for electrical components.
Manage mission-critical systems on hyperscale projects.
Ensure safety regulations are followed on all tasks.
