Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies seeks a Traveling Site Superintendent to lead field execution on data center and industrial construction projects across the United States, based in Charlotte, NC. This field-based role directs foremen, crews, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance on multiple sites.

Travel will be substantial as projects require deployment nationwide. Candidates should have 10+ years in electrical/industrial/construction, with 2+ years in leadership,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical, industrial, controls, or construction experience.
• 2+ years in a Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors on active construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.
• Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to travel full-time based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on active construction projects.
• Direct foremen, technicians, and subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Establish daily and weekly work plans and priorities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Monitor productivity, schedule performance, and labor utilization.
• Conduct jobsite walks and proactively resolve field issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Generate RFIs and support project documentation efforts.
• Enforce safety requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and verify work meets project requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inventory management, and tool accountability.
• Approve timecards and verify labor reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful project execution.
