Job summary

Amteck is seeking a skilled traveling Electrical Field Supervisor to oversee electricians on-site, ensure safety compliance, and meet project timelines. The role requires technical leadership and strong communication with clients and project managers.

You will supervise crews, coordinate service work, and provide guidance to resolve electrical issues while staying current with industry codes and safety policies. This is a traveling, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active electrical journeyman's or master's license preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in electrical field service or related roles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers and electricians.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the field, ensuring safety, schedules and quality.
• Coordinate and schedule service assignments, including installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Inspect worksites for OSHA compliance and safety policy adherence.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure delivery and satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation of service activities, work orders and inspection reports.
• Mentor field technicians and address skill gaps through coaching.
• Stay current with industry codes and regulations.
