Job summary
Kiewit Energy District is seeking an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical market. You will manage electrical planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting while ensuring safety, quality, and ethical standards on site.
You will collaborate with the design/engineering teams and clients, travel as required, and mentor a team of Electrical Field and Field Engineers to deliver complex industrial electrical
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years electrical construction experience.
- Knowledge of construction safety and current federal OSHA requirements.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Familiarity with project scheduling and cost control, reading drawings and owner specifications.
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Prepare work plans and work packages.
- Prepare Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
- Learn to supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
- Mentor and lead Electrical Field engineers and craft teams.
