Job summary

Kiewit Energy District is seeking an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical market. You will drive health and safety, ensure quality reporting, and coordinate with client and design teams.

Travel and relocation may be required to support projects nationwide. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, developing work plans, managing costs, and mentoring a team of field engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to read and understand project drawings and owner specs.
• Experience with project scheduling and cost control; familiarity with listed tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and assess material percentages installed.
• Prepare work plans and work packages; develop Job Hazard Analyses.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Manage costs, materials, scheduling equipment, and safety programs.
• Mentor a team of Electrical Field and Field Engineers; maintain owner relations.
