Job summary

Kiewit Energy Field Operations is seeking an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects for the Oil, Gas & Chemical market. You will oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting, ensuring quality workmanship and safety on site.

Based on a multi-project environment, travel and relocation may be required; strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with the design team are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• At least 3 years of electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• Understanding of project scheduling and cost control, and ability to read project drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, ProLog and/or Primavera P6 a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies; motivated and independent yet collaborative.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as required; capable of leading a team on site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and determine % complete of materials and work.
• Prepare work plans and work packages; develop JHA documents.
• Lead supervision of subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare job plans, ensure quality control, track costs and materials, and manage scheduling and safety programs.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Field Engineers, and craft teams in electrical discipline; mentor a team of Electrical Field and Field Engineers.
