Job summary

Kiewit Energy District is seeking an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects for the Oil, Gas & Chemical market. You will drive safety, quality reporting, and ensure proper electrical installation execution on complex projects.

Responsibilities include electrical planning, scheduling, procurement support, and coordination with clients and design teams. Travel and relocation may be required to support multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum 3 years electrical construction experience
Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA
Familiarity with NEC and project documentation
Proficiency with MS Office; experience with scheduling tools

Responsibilities

Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
Perform quantity calculations by measuring and determining percentage of work completed.
Prepare work plans and work packages.
Prepare Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
Prepare, manage and track costs, materials, and scheduling; maintain owner relations.
Collaborate with Superintendents, Field Engineers, and crafts within electrical discipline; mentor a team of Electrical Field Engineers.
