About Play is seeking an Early Interventionist to serve Charleston, North Charleston, and Summerville counties in South Carolina. We support families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities through family-centered services in home and community settings.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six; a willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of experience with children birth to six.
- Prior early interventionist experience preferred.
- Must reside in South Carolina.
- Willingness to travel 50–75% for the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Perform family training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment setting.
- Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
- Monitor the progress of the child and family.
