About Play seeks an Early Interventionist to serve in Charleston, North Charleston and Summerville counties in South Carolina. The candidate must reside in South Carolina and have at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six.

The role provides family-centered early intervention services in homes or community settings, with caregiver training and child development support. Expect travel up to 50–75% and a 8:30–5 schedule, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 1 year of experience with children birth to six.
• Prior early interventionist experience preferred or recent graduate willing for on-the-job training.
• Must reside in South Carolina from the specified counties and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Perform Family Training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment.
• Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
• Monitor the progress of the child and family.
