Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and related infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drilling equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Applicants should be able to work in all weather conditions, pass a driving record check, and hold a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain one. Excellent pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
