Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a highly experienced Project Manager for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, and EV/Battery/Renewables sectors. The role covers Columbus, OH and similar markets, reporting to Project Manager or Project Executive.

The candidate will supervise field staff, develop schedules, manage safety and ethics compliance, and oversee cost control, permits, insurance, and payments, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with construction experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, and methods.
• Experience with BIM and lean methods to benefit projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules with critical path.
• Lead field staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, safety standards, and regulations.
• Oversee safety programs and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Manage logistics, cost control, and staffing for on-site work.
• Coordinate multi-trade operations and resolve on-site issues.
• Handle permits, insurance, and liaise with inspection agencies.
• Oversee billing, WIP, and subcontractor payments; ensure contract conformance.
