Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a full‑time, traveling project manager to support Superintendents and Foremen on Advanced Technology projects across Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables segments.

You will oversee trade labor hiring, transfers, and layoffs, and coordinate field assignments with project needs, reporting to Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager. Travel 50%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus ten years’ related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, etc.
• Ability to travel 50%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of various projects.
• Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the job.
• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman; ensure ROJ dates are provided to the PM team.
• Document project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule; report to PM team.
• Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Provide guidance in implementation of the Project QA/QC program.
• Identify projects with Self‑Perform opportunities and assist in development of Self‑Perform proposals.
• Manage Self‑Perform performance.
• Work with BU Safety Director to implement the BU Safety Program.
• Manage ReCAP progress for field tradespeople.
• Maintain progression/succession plan for high‑potential tradesmen.
• Manage training for tradesmen.
• Support BD, Estimating and PX’s with operational plans for pursuits.
• Assist in logistics planning and scheduling during pre-construction and early project activities.
