Job summary

The STO Building Group is seeking a Superintendent for a full-time traveling role covering projects nationwide. You will manage daily site operations, scheduling, procurement, and supervising direct labor, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with the Project Manager.

Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, developing look-ahead schedules, directing subcontractors, managing materials, and communicating progress to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience on large-scale, ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of a job site, including scheduling and procurement.
• Develop and utilize look-ahead schedules with the Project Manager.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to fit work schedules.
• Coordinate with subs and clients to review scope and progress.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are maintained.
