Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a traveling Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations across projects nationwide. You will manage scheduling, production, procurement of materials, and supervision of direct labor, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple project sites. Fluency in English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent
• 5+ years of large-scale ground-up commercial construction experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
• Reads blueprints and understands building codes
• Strong communication and administrative skills
• Team player with proactive problem solving

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of job site, scheduling, production, and procurement
• Coordinate project schedules with Project Manager and look-ahead schedules
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to match work plans
• Communicate progress to clients, subcontractors, and craft personnel
• Manage labor costs and crew assignments to optimize productivity
• Prepare and implement the Project Management Plan with PM and managers
