Job summary

STO Building Group seeks a traveling Superintendent to oversee nationwide projects, manage crews, procurement, and schedules. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, ensure safety and quality, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to keep programs on track.

Requirements include a construction management degree or equivalent, 5+ years of large-scale project experience, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with large-scale, ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Reads blueprints and applies building codes correctly.
• Strong communication and management skills; working with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job-site operations, scheduling, production and procurement.
• Coordinate pre-construction activities with Project Manager and mobilization.
• Direct tool/material procurement to fit schedules and budgets.
• Ensure safety, quality and housekeeping standards on site.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors, clients, and craft resources.
